We have all heard the stories of "near death" experiences and the white light that is seen by many people.
Do you think this is related to the "white appearance", the first of the "four empties" that occur at the time of death?

This is a question I often asked myself.
Unfortunately going through the stages of the death process is not part of my daily Sadhana/liturgy practice yet, so I cannot say much about it.
There will be a 14 days Teaching on Death and Dying` at Kopan Monastery, Nepal, end of May this year, led by Robina Curtin, and I am planning to attend.
