Happy New Year everybody .... Here in Nepal we had another New Year just 3 days ago, celebrated by the ethnic group of the Gurung, and anyway the Nepali year 2071 ends in April. I love these lessons in `emptiness of inherent existence`.... Am hearing www.youtube.com/watch?v=wqZOD66Dkmc right now. At the age of 54 I finally feel that I am doing only what I myself feel is right. Took me a long time..., and still it is scary sometimes plus pretty tiring not to loose track of `what others think is right`. 2014 was a wonderful breakthrough. Finally understanding what `Dzogchen` theoretically is (the practice has to follow). Finally understanding why Tilopa was frying these fish in the pan and why his behavior makes perfect sense. Yep, hugs and greetings from the vast Himalayas, Tamara PS: And yes, 3 weeks ago, on a quite rough transport through the mountain range and visualizing yidam Vajrasattva above my head as I do daily since 10 years....., my beloved Vajrasattva suddenly came into life and started moving. Till today he rings the bell as crazy, clutches the Vajra close to his heart and when I ask him what this is about he laughs and laughs and laughs.

Sounds like you are doing well, and your practice is maturing nicely, Tamara. Not much activity on the forum these days. I feel like I am making regular breakthroughs as well, often that means resolving issues or overcoming obstacles, which usually makes feel calmer, quieter and more focused. So, as Jeff has said, I feel somewhat reluctant to post. I do enjoy reading other people's posts, though.

Thank you for your reply, Matt.
It is good to hear that others enjoy my posts a bit.
Regarding the moving visualization-deities (I am pretty sure the 5 Dhyani-Buddhas will become active during the Sadhana practice as well at some point in time):
I think this is a sign of progress and I am surprised that I do not see it mentioned anywhere in any Vajrayana-related writings. Perhaps this is the next step into secrecy, so that one is not regarded as `mad`......
The fascinating thing is: The so-called deities are Sambhogakaya, means the link between Dharma- and Nirmanakaya. Their coming into life probably means that a closer contact has been made with..... whatever Sambhogakaya ist. Pretty fascinating.

And then,...yesterday while practicing the Sadhana for the first time in 4 years it clearly occurred to me that the development stage does not bring me much benefit anymore and the completion stage, which I am struggling with, is the main practice from now on.
I always thought that one has to refine the understanding and the practice of the Sadhana and suddenly I clearly see that it is the STRUGGLING part which is important. Hmmm.
O.K., that`s all or today.
