Thank you for setting up this website. It covers the range of Buddhism, from the most Westernised version to the practices which are embedded in Tibetan culture. Thank you for incorporating material from my favourite teachers, the Dalai Lama and Thubten Chodron.

Hello frankem, nice to have you here. This discussion forum is a bit weird right now but we are doing our best. Today I am trying to put it down to the basics with my post about Mingyur Rinpoche. He was the one of the first meditators to be involved in the following research: From tergar.org/about/mingyur-rinpoche/ : ``In 2002, Mingyur Rinpoche and a handful of other long-term meditators were invited to the Waisman Laboratory for Brain Imaging and Behavior at the University of Wisconsin, where Richard Davidson, Antoine Lutz, and other scientists examined the effects of meditation on the brains of advanced meditators. The results of this groundbreaking research were reported in many of the world’s most widely read publications, including National Geographic and Time.``` Tamara
